We partnered with WWF to encourage primary school children to become Tiger Protectors. Children were asked to watch WWF’s Tiger Protector advert, and either tell the tiger’s tale before he is wounded and meets the family, or write about his journey after he left – and to let their imagination run wild! We received high-quality stories from nearly 1,000 young authors.
The campaign was promoted on the iChild website, and supported on iChild’s social media Facebook and Twitter platforms. We also recruited three bloggers from iChild’s trusted blogger network to promote this important campaign.
“We’re constantly looking for new ways to inspire and engage a young audience at WWF and this partnership allowed us to develop a range of fun activities and educational classroom resources to help youngsters learn more about our conservation work on tigers. Working with the iChild team has been a pleasure. They ensured all they key elements of the partnership came together and really stood out on their website. A highlight of the partnership for us was the record number of entries for our tiger story writing competition – with nearly 1,000 school children sending us their tiger tales!”
