Over 3,000 schools were recruited and more than 100,000 primary school students took part in this growing campaign. This supported a longer-term behaviour change for children to develop healthy eating habits from a young age.
“We worked with iChild on a new Sow & Grow campaign, working with UK schools on growing their own fruit and vegetables in classrooms. The campaign was a great success and much of this was due to the knowledge, professionalism and expertise at iChild. The team at iChild have a natural enthusiasm which is evident from day one and throughout the project, you really feel like they are giving your brand the same level of love and care as you would. There is a huge amount of effort and attention to detail in their general work flow and project management, both of which are exceptional. All-in-all we’ve been delighted with iChild and would be happy to recommend them to any brands looking to bring value to the education sector.” James Peach, UK Brand Manager, innocent
“Taking part in Sow and Grow has been, without a doubt, the highlight of the academic year for my class. It is rare to find a project that can engage a whole class and draw enthusiasm from even the most reluctant of learners, but the Sow and Grow initiative certainly achieved that. From planting the seeds to harvesting our small crops, every child was excited to get their hands dirty and learn as much as they could about growing their own food.” Miss Wright, Class Teacher, Winner: Horsenden Primary School
